Mounting Tips and Installation Guides

If you have an Epilog Legend series machine such as the 36ext, Helix, or a Mini that has a wheeled rotary attachment, you already have the correct holes in place for mounting my Rotary Clamp to the drive wheel side of the Rotary. 

To mount the clamp or backstop device to the scissor lift side of the rotary, you will need to drill and tap two mounting holes. To make this absolutely easy, I have created the hole marking template below.

To create your own holes you will need a #21 drill bit (a 5/32 will also work) and a 10-32 tap to cut the threads.

Find it locally at Harbor Freight.



​CAUTION:  Some rotary attachments may differ slightly in design. Additionally, there may be belts, pulleys, and other mechanically important parts near the area where the holes will be drilled. If it is possible to temporarily remove those mechanical parts prior to drilling, that would be best.
