Beginnings

My career began as a high school engineering design teacher in Richmond, TX where I led students through the design process and helped them unlock their creative potential. After 10 wonderful years at Foster High School, I felt that God was calling me to use my talents and skills in a new way. I continued in private education by teaching classes in robotics, engineering and 3D design to home school students while mentoring competition robotics teams. I was soon connected to a wonderful facility where I taught technology skills to students and young adults with autism, ADHD, social anxiety and similar special needs.

Transition

It was during this time that I launched my own small business specializing in 3D design and laser engraving. Out of personal necessity, I designed and created the very first 3D printed rotary clamp system and have since sold hundreds of them all around the world. That little product led to lots of wonderful connections and relationships and eventually led me to become the Innovation Engineer for RTIC Outdoors.
